A Standard lead time for OEM e-bike production is 45-60 days from order confirmation and deposit payment. For ODM projects requiring new mold development, allow 60-90 days including 3-round sample approval (design sample → pre-production sample → golden sample). For re-orders of established models with existing tooling, lead time can be reduced to 35-45 days depending on volume and component availability. Rush production may be available for an additional fee — please discuss timelines with your account manager during the quotation phase.

A Standard payment terms are 30% deposit upon order confirmation and 70% balance before shipment. For established clients with a track record of repeated orders, we offer flexible terms including L/C (Letter of Credit) at sight. We accept payment via T/T (bank transfer) and L/C through major banks. For sample orders, 100% payment is required before production begins. Please discuss specific payment arrangements with our sales team — we structure terms based on order volume, partnership duration, and client credit assessment.

A OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer): You provide complete design files, technical specifications, and component lists. We manufacture to your exact specifications. Best for brands with established product design. ODM (Original Design Manufacturer): You provide market requirements, target price, and feature preferences. We offer our existing 20+ models for customization with your branding. Best for brands entering the market or expanding their product line. Private Label: We apply your brand logo and color scheme to our standard products with minimal customization. MOQ is lower (200 units). A Yes. We offer tiered pricing based on order quantity. Typical tiers are: 200-499 units (standard price), 500-999 units (3-5% discount), 1,000-4,999 units (5-8% discount), and 5,000+ units (custom pricing). Cross-category orders (e.g., e-bikes + bicycles in one PO) also qualify for volume-based pricing. For annual programs with committed volumes, we offer contracted pricing with capacity reservation. A Sample development follows a 3-round approval process: Round 1 — Design Sample (Day 11-20): Validates design, dimensions, and basic functionality. Round 2 — Pre-Production Sample (Day 21-27): Validates production process, component fit, and surface finish. Round 3 — Golden Sample (Day 28-30): Final approved sample, sealed and referenced for mass production quality control. Sample cost depends on customization level: standard model samples are $300-$500; custom design samples (with new tooling) are $1,500-$3,000. Sample costs are partially or fully refundable against mass production orders — discuss specifics with your account manager.

A Yes. Each OEM partner is assigned a dedicated account manager who serves as your single point of contact throughout production. You receive weekly production status updates including: current production stage, quality inspection reports at each milestone, and production photos/videos. For larger orders, we can arrange video calls to walk you through the production line in real time. Pre-shipment inspection can be conducted with your third-party auditor (SGS, Intertek, Bureau Veritas) or our in-house QC team. You will be notified at each milestone: design freeze → tooling completion → first article → pilot run → mass production → pre-shipment inspection → shipping.

A All Cybic e-bike models carry the following certifications: EN15194 (EU EPAC standard), CE (EU conformity marking), FCC (US electromagnetic compatibility), RoHS (hazardous substance compliance), and UN38.3 (battery transport safety). Our quality management system is ISO 9001:2015 certified. Additional certifications available upon request include UL (US electrical safety), BSCI (social compliance), and Sedex (ethical sourcing). A Yes. All our e-bike models are EN15194 certified — the EU standard for Electrically Power Assisted Cycles (EPAC). EN15194 compliance covers: maximum continuous rated power (250W), maximum speed (25 km/h), electrical safety, electromagnetic compatibility (EMC), and mechanical safety. Our EN15194 certification is verified by accredited third-party testing laboratories. A Yes. For the US market, our e-bikes comply with CPSC (Consumer Product Safety Commission) requirements for bicycles and electric bicycles. This includes mechanical safety standards, reflector requirements, and labeling compliance. Battery packs carry UN38.3 certification for transport safety and FCC certification for electromagnetic compliance. A Yes. For OEM orders with MOQ 500+ units, we offer custom frame design with exclusive tooling. Our 30+ R&D engineers work from your design files (CAD, PDF, or hand sketches) to produce: frame geometry validation, structural analysis, prototype tooling, and sample frames. Custom tooling cost depends on frame complexity (typically $8,000-$25,000 per frame type) and is partially or fully refundable against mass production volume targets. For orders below 500 units, we recommend selecting from our existing frame library with customization of color, decals, and components. Custom frame development adds 30-45 days to the standard lead time for the first order.

A Yes. Custom packaging is available for all OEM orders. Options include: custom color box design with your brand artwork, branded user manuals in your target market language, custom accessory kits (tools, charger, keys), and retail-ready packaging for e-commerce fulfillment. Packaging design must be confirmed 15 days before mass production begins. For Amazon and e-commerce sellers, we offer FBA-compliant packaging with appropriate labeling, ASIN/SKU barcodes, and DDP shipping to Amazon fulfillment centers. A Yes. We welcome factory visits and audits at our Tianjin headquarters. Our facility is located in the Baliutai Industrial Park, Tianjin — the core of China's bicycle manufacturing cluster. During your visit, you can tour our 6 production lines, in-house testing laboratory (fatigue, impact, environmental, electrical safety), R&D center, and quality control stations.
